Hikaru

2009: It's Hillary Almeida's first night as a homicide detective, and partnered with Veteran Officer Johnson, she uncovers a series of grisly murders from twenty years ago. The killer responsible was caught, has served his time, and is being released legally, yet both officers know it's only a matter of time before he'll strike again.

1989: Alexander Gordon—a product of an abusive childhood, his hatred toward women, and increasingly violent sexual urges—starts his career as a killer and wins very limited notoriety. Feeling not at all in control of his life or himself and unable to attain meaning or satisfaction in his existence, he suddenly finds himself at the mercy of a haunting entity known only as Hikaru, whose origins and motives remain shrouded in mystery.
