Under what conditions is a war necessary or justified?
Never. War is ALWAYS wrong no matter what.
It is necessary only if another country is an imminent threat to ours.
If another country is being a dick in some way, either to the world at large or to their own people, then it is our duty to put a stop to it even if it does not directly affect us.
If another country so much as looks at us the wrong way, we should go to war with them.
You do not need a valid justification for war. Just go in there and kill the bastards!
What are you thoughts on the draft?
It should never be used because we should not be going to war.
It should not be used and only those who go willingly should have to fight.
The draft should only be used when absolutely necessary.
It is a valid program and those who are drafted but do not serve should be executed.
Fuck the draft. Put EVERYONE in the war!
If you were drafted, what would you do?
I would try to get out of serving somehow.
I would go only if I agreed with the reasons for war, otherwise would try to get out of it somehow.
I would go to war because my country needs me.
I would not have to be drafted, because I would gladly volunteer for the services and serve my country valiantly.
I would jump up and down and rejoice at the chance to go to war and kill those motherfuckers in that other country.
If your son was drafted, what are you most likely to do?
I would give him a lot of money and do whatever it takes to move his ass to Canada so the government could not force him into the war.
He would be old enough to decide for himself, so I will leave the decision as to whether he prefers to serve or to try to get out of it up to him.
I would encourage him to serving, only because he would now be legally obligated to.
His country needs him, so he damn well better serve when drafted, or not only will I disown him, but turn him over to law enforcement officers myself.

Although it is very likely that no weapons of mass destruction will be found in Iraq and the US intelligence was way off, do you still think that going to war with Iraq was justified?
Absolutely not, nor would it have been justified even if we DID find Weapons of Mass Destruction.
The main justification for the war in Iraq was because Saddam Hussein allegedly had a deadly weapons program. Since this was not proven to be the case, then the war was not justified after all.
It was still justified because we freed the Iraqi people and Saddam Hussein was an asshole anyway.
There was a POSSIBILITY of Weapons of Mass Destruction, and therefore, since he could have POTENTIALLY hurt us, we needed to get rid of him immediately. Shoot first; ask questions later.
Who cares if no weapons of mass destruction were found? The war was still fun and interesting.
If you were president or ruler of some country, how likely would you be to go to war?
I would NEVER go to war. There is ALWAYS a viable alternative.
I would go to war only as a last resort.
If another country were doing things that were unethical, I would go to war and do whatever it takes to put a stop to it.
If a country pissed me off in any way, I would go to war with them and bomb their asses back to the Stone Age!

How do you feel about people who protest against wars?
I am one of the people out there protesting.
I will probably agree with their sentiments, but do not feel the need to protest, nor do I see much of a point.
I do not agree with what they are saying, but they still have a right to protest against the war and make their opinions heard.
Those filthy hippies disgust me and should be arrest and shot for showing such disrespect to the soldiers.
Those stupid hippies should quit trying to spoil all the fun of war and not be such wet blankets all the time.

Perhaps someday, when people learn that fighting and violence is not the answer.
It would be nice, but it is very unlikely that it will ever happen.
It will never happen. People will always be fighting about something.
It will never happen as long as all those other countries keep plotting against us.

How do you feel about soldiers who fight in a war?
I hate them. They are just as bad as those who declared the war in the first place.
I am probably against the war, but will not hold it against the solders, as they are only doing their jobs.
I respect them for what they do.
I almost worship the soldiers for securing our freedom, and anyone who badmouths them should be executed as a traitor.
I envy soldiers who fight in wars and am so jealous.
The only valid way to solve a dispute is for the two parties to battle it out and the policy of "might makes right" is an absolute truth.

You are very saddened and wish that people could just learn to get along with each other.
As long as your country is involved, it is not your problem.
Keep an eye on what is going on and hope that your country does not get pulled into it.
You feel that your country is still in a position to dictate to get involved in the war somehow and settle it on your terms.
You hope desperately that one of the countries attacks your country either accidentally or intentionally so your country has an excuse to get involved in the war.
What should be the roll of the soldiers in your country?
To keep the peace and that is it.
A line of defense in case we are ever invaded.
To go on peace keeping missions throughout the world, and to do battle if necessary.
To act as an international police force and to show the rest of the world that our country kicks ass!

How do you feel about the media showing graphic war footage on the news or on TV?
It is a good idea, so we could show people the reality of war and how horrible it really is.
If they must show it, they should do it in such a way so that war is not glorified.
I would rather they did not show such graphic war footage, because I do not like having to think about how horrible the war is all the time.
Show it to the rest of the world as an example so they can see just what happens when they try to fuck with us.
I love the idea, because if I cannot witness the war firsthand, at least I can enjoy watching it on my TV.
What is your opinion on war crimes and the Geneva Convention?
Such laws regarding these matters should always be followed down to every last detail.
There are certain things that even in war, are absolutely wrong.
It is important to try to follow these rules, but sometimes you have to be tough on the enemy.
It is okay for us to break these laws, because we are better, but if the enemy should be bold enough to do so, then it is an absolute outrage.
Forget about those sissy rules and fight war the way it was meant to be fought: Without any rules and where anything goes!
How do you feel about soldiers who are killed in action?
If we were not in the war to begin with, they would not be getting killed, so this is all the more reason to bring the soldiers home.
While I might not agree with the war, it is still sad that the soldiers are being killed.
It is sad, but people die in wars, so it is to be expected.
Soldiers killed in the line of duty have died for your freedom and therefore deserve your utmost respect!
Soldiers getting killed are the best part of war.
How do you feel about nuclear war?
No way! That is going WAY too far!
Nuclear war is never necessary, not even to defend oneself.
They should be reserved as an absolute last resort.
Nuclear bombs are an excellent weapon to crush our enemies.
Nuclear war would be the ultimate wet dream for me.
