I have dubbed this creature four-eyes, obviously because he has four eyes. He has no nose, and his mouth is around his stomach, which gives its food a much quicker path through the digestive system.
I started this drawing intending to make some kind of a blueprint for an alien creature that I wanted to use for a story idea that was running through my head. However, this design would not work for that purpose, because I need the alien to appear weak and defenseless (though appearances would be deceiving in this case) and also be easy to carry. I may do something else with this creature later on, but right now I'm not really sure what. Come to think about it, he might make a really good enemy in a Doom or Half-Life-type first-person shooter.
